HISTORY


Blowzone
began on 16th September 1999 and continued to enhance its growing reputation from the first informal concerts for friends and relatives at The Ordulph Arms to summer fayres, church fund-raising concerts, local festivals and celebrations, as well as performing at STERTS www.sterts.co.uk (the open air theatre near Liskeard), H.M.S. Drake (Plymouth) and Tavistock Town Hall.

Director Multi-tasking!
How to share a joke, conduct the band
and play a saxophone all at the same time

Blowzone played at the Artists' Market on Saturday May 3rd 2008.
The event was part of Tavistock's festival for Art, Literature and Music - 'Tavistock Sings'

 

Blowzone played for sponsored charity walk at Burrator Reservoir on Sunday April 15th 2007.
The walk was organised by Tavistock Rotary Club in conjunction with the Cornish-based Shelterbox Trust.
The weather earlier that week was sunshine and high temperatures, but unfortunately on Sunday - it rained...
